And there it comes, perfection.
There are really a lot of collections I like, clothes that make me dram, bags that make me sigh but perfection is another thing.
In this case, the Spring 2012 collection of Phillip Lim is perfection.
It’s not a matter of WOW prints or OMG accessories here, it’s the purity and simplicity of a perfect cut and a magistral fit… it’s the same feeling that you can get when you look at the confident and precise stroke of a very good artist: sometimes the most simple pencil draft can look even more amazing than the final oil color painting.
And most importantly, Phillip Lim clothes scream to be worn.
Some of my favorite pieces. I would seriously start to save money now to buy that pink jacket and the blue/white/black trousers

There’s not many collections that make you think: Oh I would wear that, and also that, and oh look at that, I’d pull it off perfectly!
Especially me, with my XXXXXL size and the feet that can’t bear a 6 cm heel (described like this I sound like a monster, but I’m not that bad in reality ahah)… It doesn’t happen so often me thinking: yeah, I would definitely look good in that.
Plus, add that even with the pure geometry and basic-ness (???) of his collection he has probably set one or two of the trends that we will see everywhere (I tell you, EVERYWHERE) next season (the clutch/bag with the front handle above all)

There you go Phillip, you’re a genius.
Now I just need to find a way to corrupt him in order to send me his whole collection for free (80% discount should also be fine). Wish me luck.
Kisses!!
