I’m choosing and editing all the photos from Paris Fashion Week and I’ll post them very soon but in the meanwhile watch this little video I did in the backstage at Andrew Gn.

It’s one of my first video editing attempts but I hope you’ll like it!

Kisses and goodnight

to keep it short: I love it!! And also love to follow your fashion week coverage, though I don’t have time to give a proper feedback! Want to see more! :)

oh, one question, what kind of lense are you using?

thank you, have a nice weekend!
    kisses!

There will be more, don’t worry ;-)

For street-style now I’m mainly using my new 50 mm. It’s a fixed lens, so it’s not super practical (since I can’t zoom I have to move like crazy, I even risked my life two or three times :p) but it’s a f/1.8 so the photos are really full of light, sharp and intense. It’s perfect for portraits (gives a very blurry background, love it). It was Tommy’s Xmas present and I LOVE it big time!! (it’s also very cheap for the quality: around 90 euros on Amazon, I totally suggest it if you have a Canon reflex)
I think that the difference between these photos and the ones from last season is quite evident and believe me, all the good job was done by the lens and not by me!

For the shows and most of the video pieces I used the standard 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 that was inside the camera. It’s not the best lens ever, but in cases I need to zoom it does the job.

My dream is to get me a zoom lens with a f/1.8 but keep dreaming, they’re so expensive!

      big kiss

Thanks a lot for answering!! :) The canon 50mm 1, 8 is on my list, too and yes, I really see a difference to your pictures of last time, so it’s obviously worth getting! Not that the other ones were bad, of course! I used the 18-55 mm too, but my camera was pretty old and – this might not make much sense – it seemed to get tired after a while of intense using, especially the autofocus. In vienna last summer it died and I had to have it fixed at a store and in paris my pictures of the last day towards the end are really really bad (ok, light wasn’t good either). now i’ve got a new camera with a kit lense again (18-135, 3,5-5,6) but this combination is already much better than the other one was. I’m dreaming of the lense that I saw Caroline Blomst using – the canon 24-70mm. it’s like 1000 € ;P.

    Kisses back! :)
