Ohhh finally I tell you about the Viktor & Rolf show!
The fact that Poor Little Girl could attend such a big show was actually a matter of (huge) luck: the day before I left for Paris, the super sweet Tiany of Belmodo.tv tweets me “Do you want to go to Viktor & Rolf?”
You ask me?? OF COURSE I want to go!!
She should have gone with the guys of L’Oreal Benelux, brand that has just produced the new Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb fragrance for men (I’m working on an illustration of it, that perfume is sooo good!) but in the end she couldn’t go… so she asked me to take her place!! Oh believe me, I wanted to ask her to marry me when I saw the tweet.
So the day of the show I meet with these two guys from L’Oreal (I could spend days telling you how amazing they were… So kind, friendly and gorgeous funny), embarrassed like a kid the first day of school (I’m not exactly the queen of PRs) and I go towards this adventure that is a huge fashion show, with a proper seat (Giovanna Battaglia was sitting 5 cm in front of me!! She’s so cool!!), with Katy Perry sitting front row (I just saw the top of her head actually… I saw so much of her that I thought it was Rihanna until I saw the photos online that night ahah) and… a show that it’s actually a SHOW!
If there is something that Viktor & Rolf can do is to really make a show, not just show you clothes.
And this year it was full moon, suggestive piano music, an atmosphere like a wood inhabited only by wolves and enchanted creatures of the night. The models were shown first as chinese shadows before they went down on the runway… It was really magic!
If you want to feel the atmosphere though the video I took of the show finale might give you a better idea than my words and that can show you also all the pieces of the collection (and the designer appearing like chinese shadows in the end of the show = genius):
The clothes also reflected the mood of the show. Dark colours, precious materials and furs, overall a romantic (meant like the paintings by Friedrich, not like frills and pastel colors :D) but strong and modern (and veeeery sexy) attitude.
The things I liked the most were the coats and the more casual outfits for the day. The one below was my superfavourite and I’d buy it without hesitation. I really like the grey pattern and the shapes.
I also really liked the mood of these two fur-wool combined coats:
As I told you there was fur all over and the shapes really recalled the “wolf forest” atmosphere of the show. They were all really reach and sultry (but I wouldn’t wear them myself)
What I didn’t like much were the evening/cocktail dresses. Too many transparences, and I didn’t like the mix of fur pieces and black chiffon.
These two below were actually the two that I liked more among them (or better, that I disliked less than the others)
And that’s it!
It was really a great experience (I overcame the emotion of being to such a show just thanks to compulsive shooting/filming) and I really really want to thank Tiany Kiriloff and L’Oreal for giving me the opportunity to be there and bring it to you!

Ah, this is incredible! I love it when you go to a show and feel really overwhelmed by it all – like the beauty and creativity and performance of it all is just too much. I thought it was something that would wear off but every now and again something is just so moving and touching. I LOVE either: a) feeling like I want to dance in my seat or b) feeling like I’m going to burst into tears at the end. Hahaha. Oh my gosh, I need to get a life.
Love your description and photos. The collection looks really beautiful! I actually sort of love the outfit in the last shot! It’s slightly over-the-top in sex appeal but in a kind of amazing way.
