Quindi… Vi ho promesso su Twitter e Facebook che avrei scritto un post sul make-up economico, ed eccolo qua!
Mi faceva un po’ strano parlare sempre di prodotti mediamente costosi sapendo che la metà di voi in genere se ne frega di trucchi & Co. e non spenderebbe mai 50 euro in un fondotinta, alcuni di voi sono adolescenti e quindi non si possono ancora permettere certi prodotti e il resto preferisce spendere i soldi extra magari in vestiti invece che in blush da 30 euro l’uno (che a volte funziona come uno comprato al supermercato).
Siccome amo moltissimi prodotti che sono anche economici, ho pensato che sarebbe stato carino condividerli con voi.
Adesso il problema è uno solo: la maggior parte di voi, cari i miei lettori, abita in Italia, Belgio e USA ma venite un po’ da ogni parte del mondo: era quasi impossibile cercare i prezzi giusti per almeno tre Paesi diversi.
Quindi vi dico soltanto che il range di prezzo di cui stiamo parlando è compreso fra 2 e 15 euro, tanto per darvi un’idea del budget di cui stiamo parlando ;-)
Allora, iniziamo con la lista?
1) Rimmel – Correttore Hide The Blemish
E’ un correttore molto buono: cremoso ma non troppo pastoso, liscio e morbido con una buona coprenza. Ha un sottotono leggermente giallastro, che permette di coprire alla perfezione il colore delle occhiaie. Lo stick lo rende molto facile da applicare. Lo uso tutt’ora insieme ad altri correttori e mi trovo molto bene. Consigliato.
2) Maybelline – Fondotinta Pure Liquid Mineral
Fatemelo dire: non solo questo è il MIGLIOR fondotinta economico che abbia mai provato, ma è anche uno dei migliori fondotinta che abbia mai avuto IN ASSOLUTO.
Lo uso ancora come scorta o fondotinta da estate (ho bisogno di una tonalità più scura)
La texture è fluida e molto leggera ma la coprenza è ottima: nè troppa nè troppo trasparente. Il finish è satinato e luminoso e dura piuttosto a lungo.
Provatelo, datemi retta ;-)
3) Maybelline – Dream Mousse Blush
Guance di rosa, lunga tenuta, sensazione leggera e morbida, finish satinato, facile da applicare con le dita…. Cosa volete di più da un blush in crema?
In più colori disponibili sono molto belli.
4) The Body Shop – Born Lippy Balsamo per labbra
Non sono mai stata una fanatica dei prodotti per labbra. Fondamentalmente sono troppo pigra per riapplicare rossetti e gloss ogni ora e alla fine li lascio sempre nelle mie scatole di trucchi in bagno. Ma questo è un bel mix fra un balsamo labbra (molto idratante e levigante) e un gloss. Ho iniziato ad usarlo a 18 anni nel gusto fragola e non ho mai smesso. Adesso adoro il gusto cocomero.
Non fatevi spaventare dai gusti: sono molto delicati e per niente “invadenti”, sono convinta che fra tutti ne troverete uno che vi piace.
5) MAC – Zoom Lash mascara
Come dite? Ho già parlato abbastanza di questo mascara? Vi ho rotto le scatole?
Vi capisco, davvero, ma non posso fare a meno di citarlo perchè è davvero il mio preferitissimo in assoluto. E’ amore vero e non lo lascero’ mai, dopo 3 anni posso ben dirlo. E costa 15 euro… Se pensate che i mascara basic della Rimmel vengono sui 10 euro non è poi cosi’ male vero?
6) L’Oreal – Voluminous (waterproof) mascara
E’ stato il mio primo mascara, a 13 anni. Lo amo ancora, alla fine è vero che spesso le cose più semplici sono anche le migliori. L’Oreal ne ha fatte di tutti i colori in quanto a mascara, quelli con le ciglia effetto ventaglio, quelli super-curvanti-liscianti-allunganti-volumizzanti coi turbo razzi e quelli che se glielo chiedi per favore ti fanno anche il caffè.
Ma questo è il primo, semplice, ottimo mascara L’Oreal e a mio avviso anche il migliore, mi fa davvero le ciglia di una diva! Lo uso ancora a volte.
Secondo me il waterproof è 100 volte meglio di quello normale, che invece tende a sciogliersi e colare troppo.
7) Covergirl – Lash Blast Fusion mascara
Amiche (e compagne di sventure, sapete quanto ho sospirato per provare questo mascara in Italia??) Italiane, purtroppo questo da voi non si trova quindi non mi dilungo. Ma se capitate all’estero (qui in Belgio lo tengono anche in qualche supermercato) provatelo: è molto buono e costa pochissimo.
8) Maybelline – Ombretto Mono
E’ un ombretto molto buono: colore intenso e ricco, non sbiadisce o fa quella terribile riga sulla piega della palpebra e dura a lungo. Il range di colori è buono e ampio, io ho molti dei miei basic (bianco, nero, marrone scuro…) di questa linea.
9) Ombretti H&M
Che mi crediate o no, secondo me gli ombretti di H&M sono fra i migliori che si possano trovare in giro. Anche io sono sconvolta dal fatto che un ombretto da 2 euro funzioni cosi’ bene ma tant’è. Sono davvero ottimi: la polvere è morbida e ricca, il pay-off del colore è perfetto e sono facilissimi da applicare e lavorare sulla palpebra. Non smettero’ mai di comprarli, sul serio. Se non li avete mai provati ve li consiglio caldamente.
10) NYX – Matite per occhi Jumbo
Questi sono proprio celeberrimi e sinceramente capisco perchè: circa 4 euro (in USA costano tipo 2 dollari… Follia!) per uno dei migliori prodotti multi-uso per occhi sul mercato. Potete usarli da soli come ombretti, come base per gli ombretti in polvere, o per tratti più precisi intorno all’occhio per definire e illuminare. Li potete comprare qui: love-makeup.com (ottimo e-shop con una vastissima scelta, affidabile, puntuale e veloce nelle consegne). I miei colori preferiti sono Yogurt (un marrone chiaro bronzeo), Oyster (un rosa antico metallizzato) e Cottage cheese (bianco crema metallizzato)
Ed eccoci arrivati alla fine della lista… Conoscevate già questi prodotti? Vi piacciono?
Mi raccomando, se avete qualcosa da consigliarmi non esitate a dirmelo, adoro sperimentare ;-)
Stavo pensando a una lista dei prodotti per il corpo economici che preferisco (creme, profumi, shampoo…) per la prossima volta, che ne pensate?

I really suggest you the foundation, also because I had many skin problems too, acne and everything, so I still have a bit difficult skin (more “oily” areas mixed with dry ones and overall sensitive). But still, what is very good for me can be bad for someone else… I’m very fond of this one though, and I’m pretty sure you’ll like it too ;-)
On love-makeup they also have these MAC brushes dupes (the brand is called Sigma) that have very ridiculous prices (something like 5 pounds per brush!!) and apparently are very very good (there are lots of fans already among the Youtube Gurus). I think I’ll try them soon, but if you try them before me let me know how they are! :D

many women here – even expat/european women – swear by this real kohl thingy which is a typical Middle Eastern/Arabic make-up product i guess. it’s super cheap, but i don’t know where you can get it outside the Arabic world (i’m sure you can, but since it’s not a real brand). anyway, for fans of smoky eyes – that kohl must be the shit! :)

First I love your illustration, then I agree a lot with your choices, especially Gemey mabelline which is, in my opinion, one of the best brands cheap. Personally, I use the foundation Dream Matte mousse, and I’m not disappointed, I definitly adopted:)

I’ll definitely pick up the Mac mascara, i didn’t know it was that cheap. I usually use maybeline mascaras. They’re in the same price range, really good for volume but they do take waterproof to a whole different level. I mean, their mascara will stay on for 3 days in a freaking hurricare!
I’m looking for a budget cheek/lip tint, can you help, pls? I’m in bucharest atm and i’m so tempted to grab benetint but uh… €€€

The MAC mascara is not waterproof though, if you prefer those. I used to buy waterproof mascaras only but I still preferred the fluidity and colour of the non-waterproof ones. The MAC mascara has the best compromise in my opinion: long lasting and super resistant (I mean, it resisted to Japanese heat in August and Belgian rains without umbrella XD but if you start to cry a river or swim in a pool then you’ll have some problems of course…) and still it is fluid, smooth very black and doesn’t clump, like waterproofs often do, so for me it is really the best.

I tried it just once in the shop and it was not bad at all, didn’t buy it though because I already had the Benetint so I can’t tell you the effect on long wear but I still think it is worth a try, The Body Shop products are usually quite nice. But one day try to get the Benetint, it’s expensive I know, I bought it when I was a student so for me it was like giving my own blood away to get it LOL, but it lasts for ages (bought it 2 years ago and still have more than 1/3 of the bottle) and it’s really the best gift you can give to your complexion!

ciao! interessanti le matite per occhi NYX.. mi trovo meglio ad applicare con la matita che con pennello quindi penso proprio mi lancerò nella prova :) tanto per sapere,ho notato che hai preso colori abbastanza chiari/eterei.. quindi li hai già provati come ombretti da soli,senza poi passare altri prodotti? resistono senza ”colare” o altro? thanksss!!;)

Quelle matite sono favolose! Io le uso come base per l’ombretto (rendono il colore più intenso e luminoso e se le stendi bene il make-up dura anche di più) e per creare punti luce. In questa foto http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=233671396651809&set=a.216179688400980.64591.199325576753058&type=1 ho messo quello nella tonalità “cottage cheese” all’angolo interno dell’occhio, sulla palpebra inferiore e come base per l’ombretto. Il risultato è luminosissimo e molto bello secondo me!
Ne ho anche di più scuri (uno grigio e uno viola scuro) e li uso come matita sulla palpebra inferiore o come base per l’ombretto in polvere.
