Ormai sapete quanto ami parlare dei blog e gli illustratori che mi piacciono, quindi oggi voglio presentarvi una ragazza molto speciale: Maëlle, un’incredibile illustratrice (guardando i suoi disegni non si riesce a credere che abbia solo 22 anni!) e una delle ragazze più adorabili (e la parigina più simpatica :p) che abbia mai incontrato
Abbiamo passato un pomeriggio insieme durante la fashion week di Parigi: dovevamo incontrarci a tutti i costi visto che a quanto pare siamo fan l’una dell’altra :D
Passare del tempo con Maëlle è come guardare uno dei suoi disegni: un mondo di grazia e calma. Il suo modo di parlare è interessante quanto i tratti delle sue matite colorate e l’atmosfera in sua compagnia è rilassata e felice.
Perfino il suo sketchbook, normalmente un contenitore di errori, follie e idee strampalate uscite direttamente dalla mente di un artista, è qualcosa di incredibilmente bello da sfogliare (credo di averlo guardato da cima a fondo 5 o 6 volte mentre eravamo a pranzo… Sembravo un po’ ossessivo-compulsiva :D)
Vi mostro un paio dei suoi ultimi lavori, cosi’ che possiate farvi un’idea del suo stile (dovreste davvero seguire il suo blog!) très à la mode e attuale ma delicatissimo.
Pamplemousse è la sua prima doll (che adesso ha una nuova amica, Juni) e l’adoro. E’ il mix perfetto fra fumetto e illustrazione di moda e tutte le volte che un nuovo disegno di Pamplemousse appare sulle pagine del blog di Maëlle il mio umore diventa improvvisamente rosa e felice. Fa lo stesso effetto anche a voi?
Spero che i disegni di Maëlle piacciano anche a boi tanto quanto piacciono a me!!

E’ bravissima!! Una delle illustratrici più delicate che abbia visto in giro… E pur essendo cosi’ “tenera” riesce comunque ad essere molto glamour!
So wonderful and incredibly gracious of you to shine light on another illustrator’s blog Al!! Maelle looks so sweet and stylish. It’s amazing how much seeing the artist can reveal about the works themselves. She is super duper talented and I expect even more great things from her (as I do from you!!)

Indeed, the internet is so full of talents to discover and admire… I think sometimes is just so unfair that the light is pointed only at all the same blogs :( there are lots of people like Maelle that deserve more attention!

Wow! That’s the only thing I can say about here drawings. They’re wonderful, a bit like a fairytale. I’m sure, I’m going to follow her blog, they’re amazing.
