Ricordate che vi avevo promesso di mostrarvi il mio nuovo taglio di capelli? Ecco, siccome io mantengo sempre le mie promesse, eccolo qua… Con un mese di ritardo (ormai sapete perchè) ma va bene lo stesso… no?
E’ stata una scelta piuttosto epica, dopo 9 anni di lunghezze ultra. Ma sono molto contenta di averlo fatto… E’ successo in un momento della mia vita in cui ero molto felice (ironico, visto che la “bomba” è esplosa solo pochi giorni dopo) e avevo voglia di fare qualcosa per me stessa.
Sono riuscita a perdere tutti i famosi chili dovuti al dannato trasferimento in Belgio (anche un po’ di più di un mese fa, adesso) e mi sentivo molto bene con me stessa. In qualche modo volevo marcare un cambiamento positivo.
Un po’ avevo paura, sarò sincera, perchè amavo moltissimo i miei capelli, ma credo che la svolta sia stata così positiva che non tornerei mai indietro! (domani vado ad aggiustarli di nuovo, fra l’altro)
E quindi ecco a voi l’intero processo dalla A alla Z (The Red Dot non hai mai visto un tale ego trip prima… La prossima volta che mi dite che non vi mostro mai foto di me mi arrabbio sul serio! :D)
Un giorno prima del taglio ho deciso di dire addio alla mia treccia con una foto. Il camerino di H&M non è stata una scelta molto romantica ma diciamo che ho agito d’istinto…

PS: La prima foto è il mio primo tentativo di autoritratto. L’ho fatta nella stanza dei miei davanti a uno specchio antico, mi piacevano molto la luce e l’effetto un po’ soffuso e sfuocato. Questa è un’altra (sorvoliamo sull’aria pseudo-sexy-wannabe, in quel momento ero il soggetto delle mie foto, non io! Forse dovrei provare a farne di più…)
Il primo taglio corto (in età ‘adulta’, io da piccola ho sempre avuto un caschetto corto, grazie mamma) non si scorda mai :D

OMG i’ve been dying for to see this post, because it was such a big step i remember all those should I shouldn’t I moments over on FB, i remember following your success at your diet and resulting weight loss and that promise to get your hair chopped off if you did (i’ve somehow made that sound like a charity fundraising event). Of course your personal circumstances changed and it was quite rightly delayed but now its here i can’t help but feel all happy to see it :D
Ok ok so i was about give you a dressing down after reading “So here is the full process (The Red Dot has never seen such an ego trip before, I’ll get really mad if you tell me again I never show you pics of me! :D)” only for the next photo to feature your face cut off by a mirror that clearly wanted to be center of attention. This was then followed by you hiding behind your camera in a couple and i was like SHE LIED, i feel cheated i demand a refund this instant!!! Alas however we were treated to the photos of you with that face hugging camera firmly away (yes i forgot the one at the top). So yeah i am going to say it, you look sensational the cut is simply beautiful and suits you so well. I absolutely adore the self portraits that soft flaring light and that pose despite what you say is just lovely, but hey i could write more lines of compliments but i shall keep it short save you the reading time xD
I did however during my time typing this realise that i…have forgotten the name you gave your camera hence why its referred to as the ‘camera’ i know it was a beautiful japanese name and i was sure it began with Ts… but i’ve forgotten this is why i named mine Barry clearly its boring enough to remember.
Oh dear lord i’ve rambled like a mad man, never let me reply at 2.30am AGAIN!!!

Partendo dal presupposto che la treccia era semplicemente splendida (sono una loro grande fan), con il taglio nuovo stai davvero bene! Ogni tanto ci vuole proprio. Ammetto però che, dopo due anni di carré fisso, ed essendo stata abituata fin da piccola ai capelli lunghi, a me era venuta una gran nostalgia, infatti ora li sto facendo crescere!

Ricordo quando fino ai 30 anni ho tenuti i capelli superlunghi (e super lisci) ed il mio capo mi diceva che parevo mariamaddalena coicapelligiuperlaschiena! Lo odiavo. Ma quando poi ho iniziato a tagliarmeli, a volte piu a volte meno, ne sono stata soddisfatta e mi sono detta che in fondo in fondo non si sbagliava di troppo…. ;)
